In my high school Computer Science course, we had to create a project in Java. I chose to create a simple interpreter for a custom programming language, which I named "Simple." My Java program would take in a .simple file and execute the code within. It tokenizes each line of code and executes the instructions. My programming language supports variables, if statements, and loops. I was able to create Hangman within my "Simple" language.

Description:

As part of a first-year hackathon at Northeastern University, my team and I created a social event planning web app built with React and Next.js. The app allows you to log in and plan events with your friends around the Stetson West and Stetson East first-year dorms. During the hackathon, I mainly focused on the backend which includes setting up APIs, authentication, and the database.

A Safe Bluebike Finder

For my final project for the Bostonography class at Northeastern University, two other students and I made a safe Bluebike station finder web app. We made it using Next.js and it uses the Google Maps API to find the nearby Bluebike Stations along with a safety score.

We used public accident data from the City of Boston to calculate a safety score for each Bluebike station around Boston. This app allows you to input your starting location and find the nearest Bluebike station with their corresponding safety score. You may request to see the code if needed.

A Road Trip Planner

As part of the 2025 Hackbeanpot Hackathon, my team and I developed a road trip planning web app. This app takes into account the user's starting location, their end location, the number of stops, and their budget to plan the best stops along the way. The app uses the Google Maps API to find information.

As part of the hackathon, I focused on the UI/UX of the app. We used Next.js along with Tailwind to build the app. Code available upon request.

Description:

Fees App allows users to track their expenses and provides tools to help them manage their budget. It categorizes spending and lets users add and edit individual expenses. By entering their salary, the app shows whether they are over or under budget and estimates what their bank account might look like in the future.

Description:

During my high school years, I developed a personal wellness tracking application for Android. The app was originally designed for my a family member, who wanted an easy-to-use app to track her self-care habits. Self-Care App would give a simple checklist of self-care tasks that the users could check off as they completed them. The app would also recommend self-care tasks to make their life healthier such as taking vitamin D and meditating.

My Third Game

After creating Aliens, I wanted to build a larger, more complex game. So, I developed Space, a game made with Javascript and Canvas. The objective is to survive as long as possible by dodging attacking ships. Use the 'W', 'A', 'S', and 'D' keys to move around the screen, and press 'F' to flicker. Flickering lets you pass through enemy obstacles without dying. A bar in the top-left corner of the screen shows how much flicker energy you have left.

My Second Game

After The Dot Game, I created Aliens. Again, it's a game built with Javascript and Canvas. The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible by dodging aliens' weapons and asteroids. Use the 'A' and 'D' keys to move around the screen. As time goes on, the game gets more and more difficult.

Description:

The Dot Game was one of my first programming projects. It's a simple game built using Javascript and Canvas. The game consists of 10 levels. The objective of each level is to reach the goal on the right-hand side of the screen. Reaching the goal advances you to the next level.

Use the 'W', 'A', 'S', and 'D' keys to move the dot around the screen.
